Prime Computer has unveiled its latest mini-PC, the PrimeMini Connect. The device is fanless and relies on the Ryzen Embedded R1606G, an AMD processor with two cores, four threads and a 25 W TDP. The Ryzen Embedded R1606G also reaches 3.5 GHz on its CPU and has a Radeon Vega 3 integrated GPU that can boost to 1.2 GHz.
Additionally, the PrimeMini Connect has an Intel Wireless AC 9560 modem built-in that provides up to 802.11 ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. Alternatively, you could use one of the machine's Gigabit Ethernet connections for internet access. Moreover, Prime Computer has included dual DisplayPort 1.4 connections, HDMI 2.0 and plenty of USB 3.1 Type-A ports.
The PrimeMini Connect can be configured with 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM too, all DDR4 modules operating at 2,400 MHz. In terms of storage, Prime Computer has included an M.2 2280 slot for NVMe drives and a 2.5-inch drive bay for HDDs or SSDs.
Prime Computer has not revealed how much the PrimeMini Connect costs. The machine is yet available through any of the company's resellers, either. Prime Computer has dedicated portals for purchasing its machines as private and business customers, for reference.
