MINISFORUM may have just started selling a Ryzen 9 5900HX-powered mini-PC, but it has already moved onto something even more powerful. The EliteMini X500 features a Ryzen 7 5700G, which is part of AMD's latest G-Series Desktop Processors. The Ryzen 7 5700G is a 65 W APU with 8 CPU and GPU cores.

MINISFORUM has announced another mini-PC, having already launched the TL50 and EliteMini HX90 in the last few months. While the latter contains the Ryzen 9 5900HX, the EliteMini X500 has the Ryzen 7 5700G, a 65 W APU. Hence, the EliteMini X500 is MINISFORUM's most powerful machine to date.

The Ryzen 7 5700G also offers 8 CPU cores that can boost to 4.6 GHz when required. The APU supports Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT) too, yielding 16 threads, along with 8 GPU cores that AMD caps at 2 GHz. Correspondingly, the EliteMini X500 should handle games better than many comparable mini-PCs do.

As far as we can tell, the EliteMini X500 has a large fan to cool its Ryzen 7 5700G and vents on all sides. The device's front is fairly clean, with only a 3.5 mm combined headphone/microphone jack and a power button. MINISFORUM has not shown what other ports the EliteMini X500 has, though.

Unfortunately, the company has not revealed when it will launch the EliteMini X500. Currently, MINISFORUM has only confirmed that the mini-PC 'is coming soon', whenever that is.
