It seems that Google was originally developing the Pixel 5 with its Tensor SoC, rather than the Snapdragon 765G. The device, codenamed 'whitefin', contains an earlier revision of Tensor with different clock speeds than the SoC in the Pixel 6 series, too.

It claims to have taken only a half-hour during this event to sell 2 million of its fitness trackers and wearables. The OEM has also now revealed that its smartphones, the latest Mi 11-series units and the top-end Mix Fold included, are also doing well.

We are getting to know that AMD's upcoming Navi 31 RDNA 3 GPU is likely to feature 120 workgroup processors or 15,360 streaming processors. Also being speculated is a 256 MB or 512 MB 3D Infinity Cache and a 2.5 GHz boost clock that could yield 75 TFLOPs. The first fully-electric SUV to be announced with a 1000km, or about 626 miles range on a charge, is another EV slated for the Chinese market, GAC's Aion LX Plus. Tested with a 144.4 kWh pack, it reportedly managed to cover 904km before the battery died during the hot-weather test with the A/C on.

European Union’s General Court has rejected Google’s appeal against a US$2.8 billion fine that the company had received in 2017. The fine was the result of the European Commission’s verdict that Google had broken antitrust law by giving preference to its own shopping comparison product in search results over other, potentially better alternatives.

Currently, iPhone 13 screen replacements break Face ID if the microcontroller attached to the old screen isn’t transferred to the new screen. After the update, screen replacements won’t require transferring the microcontroller.
