Renders of what could be the first Snapdragon 898-powered smartphone have leaked. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, also known as the Moto Edge X, should debut in January 2022 with four cameras and a 144 Hz display.

Earlier this week, specifications for the Moto Edge X leaked, seemingly confirming that it will be one of the first Snapdragon 898 devices. According to TechnikNews, Motorola will launch the Moto Edge X as the Edge 30 Ultra globally, with 'Moto Edge X' serving as its name in China.

Now, 91mobiles and @OnLeaks have revealed renders of the device, which will succeed the Motorola Edge 20 Pro. According to the pair, the Edge 30 ultra measures 163.1 x 76.5 x 8.8 mm, with the camera housing protruding by another 1.2 mm. Supposedly, Motorola has included a 6.67-inch display within this chassis, which is expected to operate at 1080p and 144 Hz.

Moreover, the Edge 30 Ultra should have a 5,000 mAh battery, a 60 MP front-facing camera and dual 50 MP rear-facing cameras. Motorola has included a 2 MP tertiary rear-facing camera too, but the device will only use this for bokeh shots.

Motorola is believed to be announcing the Moto Edge X next month in China. Following that, Motorola will bring the Edge 30 Ultra to other markets in January 2022.
