Motorola Moto Edge S30 to come with a Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC, a 120 Hz display and a 10x optical zoom camera
The Moto G200 has leaked again, with TechnikNews recently revealing renders of the upcoming smartphone. This time, it has appeared as the Moto Edge S30 on the TENAA in China. Presumably, Motorola will release the device as the Moto Edge S30 in China first, followed by a global release as the Moto G200.
According to the TENAA, the Moto Edge S30 has a 6.78-inch IPS display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole display also resolves at 2,460 x 1080 pixels and sits within a 7.7 mm thick chassis. Apparently, the Moto Edge S20 weighs 202 g, in part because of its 4,700 mAh battery.
Additionally, the TENAA claims that Motorola has equipped the Moto Edge S30 with a Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC, a modest upgrade on the Snapdragon 888 mentioned with regard to the Moto G200. Potentially, Motorola could release the Moto Edge S30 with the Snapdragon 888 Plus in China and the Moto G200 with the Snapdragon 888 globally.
Either way, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner too, along with a 108 MP primary camera and a telephoto lens that supports 10x optical zoom. Reportedly, Motorola will announce the Moto Edge S30 or the Moto G200 before the end of the month.
