Giznext has leaked marketing assets and specifications of the Moto G Power 2022, another mid-range smartphone by Motorola. Unsurprisingly, the Moto G Power 2021's successor relies on an outdated design, with thick bezels surrounding its 6.5-inch display.
According to Giznext, the Moto G Power 2022 has a 1,600 x 720-pixel IPS panel that Motorola will market as a 'Max Vision' display. The 720p panel also operates at 90 Hz though, an improvement on this year's model. Incidentally, an 8 MP front-facing camera sits beneath the display, which has an f/2.0 aperture.
Additionally, Motorola has equipped the device with three rear-facing cameras. While the primary camera is a 50 MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, the other two are 2 MP sensors. Typically, Android OEMs include these sensors for marketing purposes; the 50 MP camera will do the heavy lifting here.
The Moto G Power 2022 has a 5,000 mAh battery too, along with a USB Type-C port that supports up to 10 W charging. Giznext claims that the device utilises a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage. The Moto G Power 2022 will launch with Android 11, although it is unclear when Motorola will announce it.
