Reviews for the Lenovo Yoga Tab 11
The mid-range Yoga Tab 11 tablet offers an interesting design combined with pen support. However, in everyday operation the Lenovo tablet shows several weakness that you should know about before making a purchase decision.

The Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 is a tablet that bets big on one feature, an innovative kickstand, and for the most part, it is a bet that pays off. It is a supremely versatile device that fits into almost any situation or use-case. That it boasts a well-rounded set of specifications for a reasonable price is icing on the cake. But for better build quality, a slightly more premium screen or a faster processor it would be an instant recommendation, instead, it is a solid option for most buyers.

Though I think the Yoga Tab 13 is the better tablet due to its larger screen, longer battery life and better performance, I can’t discredit the Yoga Tab 11. It's a practical device that adequately serves its primary function of being an entertainment-focused slate geared toward children and more casual users. While you can find a cheaper tablet with similar features, this machine’s built-in kickstand and cylindrical battery certainly give it a unique look. But that distinctive design also makes it impossible to find a protective case for the tablet. If you plan on giving this slate to your kids, you’re playing with proverbial fire. Other than that, the Yoga Tab 11 is a good Android tablet that's well-suited to home use.

Without a doubt, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 exceeded my expectations. Apart from the lack of a fingerprint sensor and the poor auto-brightness setting, there’s little to complain about here. With the built-in kickstand, powerful speakers, long-lasting battery life, and high-res screen, the Yoga Tab 11 is an entertainment champ. And when you do need to get work done on it, there’s plenty of power and above-average video conferencing hardware. At a starting price of $280, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 punches above its weight and is more affordable than rivals like the iPad.

With the Yoga Tab 11, Lenovo is not trying to copy Apple or any other competitor in the tablet market. A look at the Tab 11 will give you a rough idea about what to expect from this tablet. It neither falls in the budget nor high-end category. Rather, the whole idea is to design a tablet that’s high on entertainment. I believe its sticker price of Rs 30,000 is justified for a tablet with a different design, stunning display, and speakers. However, Android tablets still pale in comparison to the iPad, and companies like Lenovo and Samsung know this very well. Google is to be blamed for messing up with the software. But the renewed focus on the Android tablet market is exciting at many levels.

The Yoga Tab 11 has launched in India quite soon after the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (Review), and it caters to a different segment in the market. The Yoga Tab 11 gets the basics right, with a crisp display, powerful speakers, and big battery. While the integrated kickstand might seem like a gimmick, it is quite useful. For those looking for a tablet for entertainment purposes, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 fits the bill quite well. In fact, it also performs well enough to handle occasional gaming. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (Review) could be an alternative at roughly the same price, and also comes with a stylus. If you are in the Apple Ecosystem, you should also consider the Apple iPad (9th Gen).

The Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 costs Rs 40K, but those eyeing the tablet can pick it up for around Rs 30K from e-commerce portals like Amazon. For its discounted price, the Yoga Tab 11 brings a lot to the table, including a high-res display and a competent SoC. That said, platform-agnostic users could find better value in the new 10.5-inch iPad, which retails for the same price albeit offers a faster chipset and a more cohesive interface. Regardless, if you are on the lookout for a VFM Android tablet, then you’ll find little to dislike about Lenovo’s latest offering.

The built-in stainless steel kickstand is a very good addition to the tablet for convenience. It has a rubber finish on top that provides additional grip when you set it on the table and restricts the stand from scratching the surface. You can use the stand as a handle for portability and can also hang the tab for your convenience. However, we noticed that sometimes when you hang the device upside down the screen does not rotate accordingly and we had to look at it upside down. Since the tablet has only one USB Type C port, we can either charge or use wired headphones or have to buy an expensive hub to do both simultaneously. Lenovo didn’t provide a precision pen (although the tablet supports this feature) which we dearly missed while using Adobe Lightroom. The stand brings in versatility but it has its own limitations. It is good when you set it up at a standard table height, anything lower than that will become a challenge as the tab tends to tip over. A longer stand would have helped fix this issue.

Drawing a conclusion for this device is easier said than done. Right of the bat, you should know that this is not a powerhouse. Instead, it is a leisure-oriented tablet, that is meant predominantly for entertainment. No matter if you are purchasing it for yourself, or for a child, it will allow you to make the most out of it. This might be fixed in a future update, but it also might not. This definitely doesn’t render the tablet unusable, but it’s petty you can’t use one of its advertised functions. Nevertheless, it is unlikely that you’ll find a better product in terms of hardware at that price. And if you don’t really need the face recognition function, a purchase seems like a good choice.

This is a standard display format for tablet computers or small convertibles. You see more on the screen than on a smartphone but you can't use big resolutions well. On the other hand, mobility is not a problem.

As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.
In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.
In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.
77.26%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
