The Lenovo Idea Tab Plus is a 12.1-inch Android 15 tablet aimed at students and general users, combining a 2.5K IPS 90 Hz display with native pen support. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC with ARM Mali-G57 MP2 graphics, 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via microSD up to 2 TB. Reviewers note its bright screen (up to 800 nits HBM), 4 Dolby Atmos speakers and lightweight 530 g metal chassis as strong points for media consumption and note-taking. The 10,200 mAh battery supports 45 W fast charging, and connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and USB-C with Power Delivery. Camera hardware (13 MP rear, 8 MP front) and mid-range graphics performance are considered adequate but not standout, making it unsuitable for demanding 3D gaming. Priced around 299 Euro with an average rating of roughly 74–79%, the tablet is positioned as an affordable, well-equipped all-rounder with some compromises in premium features such as HDR and top-tier performance.

Reviews for the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus
The Lenovo IdeaTab Plus makes it a pretty easy decision for buyers. For under $290, you get a lightweight and well-equipped 12.1-inch tablet that comes with a stylus. It's primarily intended as a companion for university lectures. However, the IdeaTab Plus is just as well-suited for surfing or streaming, as our review demonstrates.

Sadly, this is no tablet for a business. Or anyone with a serious aspiration to illustrate and draw. Our view might have been different if we had the keyboard, but given the low spec processor, it's hard to see this as a professional device. But then, it is aimed at students, and for that purpose, it does just fine. Split-screen views across a surprisingly bright and colorful display will help anyone study. And the battery life is commendable at this price range. But it is worth investing in a better stylus regardless of your use case.

And just like the Yoga Pad, you can pair this with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, as well as the standard Tab Pen, and a keyboard case. There’s also a simple folio case that doubles as a kickstand and includes a handy divet for storing and charging your stylus. Both tablets are due this month – we only have a release window of September 2025 currently – and come in a range of colours. The Lenovo Yoga Pad is offered in either Luna Grey or Seashell, and starts at 499€, while the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus comes in Luna Grey, Cloud Grey or Sand Rose, and starts at 299€. UK pricing is still to be confirmed. I’ll be getting my hot little hands on both models in the near future, so check back in soon to see what I make of Lenovo’s latest tablets.
