Don't forget that many extras aren't standard. If you opt for all optional goodies alongside the OLED panel, the end price will be significantly higher than the base one. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15AHP10 is an affordable laptop that can be configured with powerful, though somewhat cooling limited Zen 4 CPUs, which have plenty of cores for daily or normal office usage. The adequate upgradeability and decent stock IPS panel also help make this device feel competitive in the 2025 laptop market.

AMD Radeon 780M: Integrated graphics card in the Ryzen 7040 mobile series APUs based on the RDNA3 architecture with 12 CUs (= 768 shaders) and a clock speed of up to 3 GHz.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

R7 8840HS: A high-end, Hawk Point family processor that was unveiled in Q4 2023. The 8840HS isn't actually a new chip; instead, it's similar to the Ryzen 7 7840U but with a 5 W higher minimum TDP as well as higher clock speeds on the Ryzen AI NPU. The 8840HS has 8 SMT-enabled cores (16 threads) running at 3.3 GHz to 5.1 GHz.
