Verdict — Basic Multimedia On A Budget
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15IRH10R introduces a handful of welcomed updates to the series. The display is now 16:10 instead of 16:9, RAM is user-upgradeable again, and both the clickpad and battery pack are now larger for better usability and battery life, respectively.
Some of the weakest aspects of the model include the limited color reproduction and lack of support for full-size M.2 2280 SSDs should you ever want to upgrade storage in the future. OLED is available as an option, but it would bump the system closer to the $1000 range where higher-end options like the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 or Dell 16 Plus may make more sense. The model has yet to fully transition to USB-C charging as well and so it still ships with a proprietary AC barrel charger.
Pros
Cons
Price and Availability
The IdeaPad Slim 3 15IRH10R as reviewed is now available exclusively at Costco for $770.
The IdeaPad Slim 3 15IRH10R is one of the least expensive laptops in Lenovo's lineup. It succeeds last year's IdeaPad Slim 3i 15IRU9 by swapping out the slower Intel Raptor Lake-U processors for faster Raptor Lake-H ones while keeping the chassis largely unchanged. Many of our comments about the IdeaPad Slim 3i 15IRU9 also apply here for the IdeaPad Slim 3 15IRH10R.
Our test unit is the most affordable configuration with the Core 5 210H CPU and 1200p IPS touchscreen for approximately $770. Higher-end options are available with the Core 7 240H and 1600p OLED panel.
Alternatives to the IdeaPad Slim 3 15 include other budget-oriented models like the HP Pavilion 15, Dell Inspiron 15, or the Acer Aspire series.

Maintenance
Interestingly, the 2025 IdeaPad Slim 3 15 has reverted back to supporting expandable RAM like on the 2023 version whereas the 2024 had soldered RAM only. The 8 GB of soldered RAM on the 2025 model can be expanded up to 24 GB total by adding a 16 GB DDR5 SODIMM module.
Sustainability
Lenovo advertises no recycled materials used during the manufacturing process of this model. Meanwhile, the packaging consists of mainly cardboard with 90 percent recycled plastic wrapping.

Display
The display this year has been upgraded from 16:9 on the 2024 model to 16:10 for the 2025 model. The catch, however, is that the newer display is slightly smaller at 15.3-inches instead of 15.6-inch. Both panels otherwise exhibit very similar characteristics from the limited sRGB coverage to the middling response times and brightness levels. Upgrading to the brighter and more colorful OLED configuration would boost the visual experience significantly.

Performance
Testing Conditions
We set Windows to Performance mode prior to running the benchmarks below.
Processor
The Core 5 210H performs in between the Core 5 120U and Core Ultra 7 155U. Unfortunately, performance can dip by as much as 25 percent when stressed as Turbo Boost sustainability is limited much like what we observed on last year's model.
Upgrading to the Core 7 240H configuration is expected to improve multi-thread performance rather significantly by just over 50 percent.

GPU Performance
The UHD Graphics Xe G4 48 EUs is over two generations old at this point to be one of the slower options available in the current market. Upgrading to the Core 7 240H configuration would slightly bump up graphics performance to the Xe 96 EUs.
