Intel may finally match AMD's multi-core performance... one year later. (Image Source: Explica.co)

Leak reveals solid performance gains for the upcoming Intel Alder Lake laptop and desktop processors, likely not enough to beat AMD Zen3+

Sources close to Moore's Law Is Dead claim that the Alder Lake-U CPUs with up to 6 big cores and 8 little cores can deliver double the multi-core performance of current Tiger Lake-U models, and the single-core Alder Lake performance should be 20% better, as well. The top desktop Alder Lake CPUs with 8 big cores and 8 little cores may thus beat AMD's Ryzen 9 5900X models in multi-core loads.

86% Aorus 15G XC Gaming-Laptop review: Features suffer setback in favor of an upgrade to RTX 3070

Cuts for an expensive GPU? Gigabyte's Aorus 15G has been updated with the new graphics unit RTX 3070. Unfortunately, the manufacturer seems to have made some cuts as a result of this upgrade, as several features from last year's model are no longer included. Can the new graphics performance outweigh these omissions or might the predecessor actually be the better choice?
