Reviews for the Oppo Reno4 Z 5G
Oppo launches a low-priced 5G phone with the Reno4 Z 5G. A 120 Hz display and a price of around 300 Euros (~$300) seem attractive, but we take a closer look in our detailed review of the Chinese smartphone.

A capable phone that won't let you down in all the ways that really matter. It'll snap a photo, let you play pretty much any of your favourite games, and go all day without an issue. But even at this end of the market it's not hugely competitive.

If 5G is really important to you now or as some kind of future-proofing, and you're operating on a budget, perhaps the Reno4 Z 5G makes sense. After all, it is one of the more affordable handsets with next-gen connectivity available on a more or less global scale.

The Oppo Reno4 Z 5G is a strong all-rounder that gives you 5G, a 120Hz display, and a competent camera for not much money. However, there are plenty of rivals that do similar things for the same or less.

I love how it looks, I really like OPPO’s Color OS software, and I really enjoyed testing this phone. Would I go and buy one? Yes – without a doubt. If you want something a little different from Samsung and Apple, OPPO is one of the best Android brands right now. And for just £224, the OPPO Reno4 Z 5G is easily one of the best value Android phones on the market right now.

The OPPO Reno4 Z 5G has a price tag of PHP 20,990, and it is exclusively available on Globe and Smart postpaid plans only. For that, you’re getting a screen with a high refresh rate, solid cameras, and long battery life. It can also be considered as one of the more affordable options for those looking for a 5G-enabled smartphone but don’t want to spend much on more expensive flagships.

OPPO’s second 5G-ready phone (the first being the Find X2 Pro) is an interesting offering, as it showcases the potential of MediaTek’s Dimensity 800 against current mid-range 5G processors from team Qualcomm. Compared to the Reno4 that launched earlier, OPPO made a few compromises to the Reno4 Z in order to have a 5G-ready phone that is priced at under Php 21k.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.

This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones.
