Reviews for the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE GX551QS
45 percent faster than the Core i9-10980HK, 45 percent faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q, and over 7x faster gray-gray response times. The 2021 Zephyrus Duo 15 SE GX551 makes last year's Zephyrus Duo GX550 feel outdated already.

More conservative buyers may feel that despite all the features on offer and remarkable specs, for every area where the Zephyrus Duo triumphs, it's somewhat hindered by practical concerns. The high-end components and the ScreenPad inflate the price, and with alternative components not far behind in terms of performance and other laptops without second screens proving far more affordable, it leaves the GX551 a more ideal option for hardcore users only.

The ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE builds upon its predecessor in a pretty big way. The display has been upgraded to a 4K 120Hz panel, which provides the sharpness I expect of a flagship-class content creator laptop in 2021, without sacrificing on the fluidity that I want on a gaming laptop. The display is without a doubt the perfect balance between the two worlds. To support the more demanding display, the CPU and GPU under the hood is also significantly beefier, and yet the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE still deliver better battery life than its predecessor. But these are not the only impressive things about the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE.

Along with the Duo 15 and 14, Asus announced the ZenBook 13 OLED, Zenbook 14 and ZenBook Flip 15. The Flip 15 is available now starting at $1,150 and is "one of the world's most compact 15.6-inch convertible laptops," Asus says. The ZenBook 14 is an ultrathin AMD-powered laptop with a Ryzen 7 5800H processor and an option for Nvidia MX450 graphics. The ZenBook 13 OLED is a 2.5-pound clamshell with a 13.3-inch FHD OLED display and various AMD Ryzen mobile processors. No pricing was available for them and they are expected to be available in February.

The cooling system is improved, too, to make sure you can keep those new components running at top performance. While much of the rest of the Duo remains unchanged from last year, Asus did add one small new feature: A microSD 4.0 card reader.
