According to a UK retailer, Samsung is preparing to release over 70 accessories for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and the Galaxy S22 Note. A deep green colourway should be heading to the Galaxy S22 Note too, based on an official S Pen render image.

Researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology have developed the world's first color OLED microdisplay with ultra low power consumption. Those can be used for information we need right in front of our eyes at all times, like with smart glasses and other wearables, but have so far all been monochrome. By cutting the pixel size in half and utilizing CMOS technology, the Fraunhofer scientists have managed to deliver an OLED microdisplay that can show a mixture of green and red colors for the first time.

Xiaomi has presented its latest streaming stick, the TV Stick 4K. Besides offering native 4K support, the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K also has Google Assistant built-in, Dolby Vision and access to numerous apps through Android 11 on Android TV.

Samsung has an ambitious plan to ship over 4 million OLED display panels in 2022, per Sigmaintell report

According to analyst firm Sigmaintell, Samsung sold 800,000 OLED notebook panels last year and plans to move 5 times as many in 2022. The report also highlighted that ASUS, with its premium OLED display ROG laptops, dominated the OLED notebook market this year.

Counterpoint Research's latest report on the smartphone processor market shows that MediaTek has once again taken the lead in the latest complete quarter of 2021 (3Q2021). The three-month period has seen a number of intriguing changes, such as Unisoc taking a 10% share of shipments for the first time. Then again, Apple stayed more or less where it was and Qualcomm continues to lead the 5G baseband sector.
