Reviews for the Oppo F19s

The key reason you should purchase the Oppo F19s smartphone is for its excellent battery backup, punchy color display, and decent AMOLED display. However, the phone didn’t have impressive camera quality, 5G support, a powerful processor, and a few more other factors. Spec-wise, the phone didn’t offer something exceptional that makes the F19s smartphone stand out from the competition. Looking at the 4G range smartphone, you will find several decent options under the 20K range. But still, the Oppo F19s is only recommended if you are getting a discount. If you’re looking for an alternative option, take a look at the Motorola Moto G71 5G smartphone.

The Oppo F19s is a decent mid-range smartphone with a good display and an impressive battery life. The smartphone delivers reliable performance for average users. The camera backed by the AI Scene Enhancement can easily cater to the needs of most average smartphone users in India. Although the device delivers what is expected but considering the price range it falls in, the competition is cutthroat.

The Oppo F19s is a beautiful-looking device with average specs, a decent camera, and a humongous battery. I would like to recommend this phone to people who can’t handle bulky phones and are looking for something that is lightweight and budget-friendly at the same time. Oppo F19s fills the void here very well. In comparison to the other aspects, it falls very short compared to the competition and there are simply better options available in the market at this price point from companies like Xiaomi and RealMe. If you are looking to buy this phone then you should be aware that you are buying the phone just for aesthetics and if you value a lightweight phone in your pocket that lacks performance and basic features then the Oppo F19s is the device for you.

The OPPO F19s packs in specs that leave a bit to be desired, especially when price is taken into consideration. The AMOLED panel is a compelling highlight, and the photo-taking capabilities of the device are certainly very good too. Even so, with the sub-par performance along with the lack of a higher refresh rate panel or HDR10 certification, the odds are certainly not in favour of the F19s. To OPPO’s credit, the company has delivered a sleek, robust device with decent battery life and a primary camera that can take reasonably good shots. If these are characteristics that appeal to you, the F19s should be worth a closer look.

The latest to join the Oppo family is the Oppo F19s. It is the successor of the Oppo F19 that was launched a few months ago. This model falls under the mid-range price category, joining the existing Oppo F19 Pro+, Oppo F19 Pro and Oppo F19 too. In terms of its design and display, this phone is made of polycarbonate material which makes the device rather lightweight with premium design. The punch hole camera on the top left corner might give it a standard phone feeling but the matte finish gives a distinctive look to the device. The smartphone itself is quite slim and easy to hold. The F19s comes in two colour variations namely the glowing gold and glowing black. It is worth noting that this phone comes with a pair of earphones which is quite surprising as most devices nowadays do not include it in their package. The volume rocker and power button has been placed accordingly, just good enough to be handled single-handed. As for its display, the phone has been incorporated with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The overall display quality of this model is quite good for streaming videos and playing games. It is also worth mentioning that with just 600nits peak brightness, the display can still perform quite well under the sunlight.
The smartphone comes with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and it would be quite noticeable while playing games. For the price that it comes in, there is nothing much to complain about its display as it is definitely worth the price. In terms of its camera setup, Oppo F19s has been equipped with a triple camera setup which includes the 48MP main camera, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The images obtained under good lighting conditions are quite good as the camera response is quick and the interface is smooth too. In addition, the AI Scene Enhancement feature will automatically recommend and enhance the image with filters. Apart from that, the phone’s auto-focus is rather good under daylight.
As for the images captured under low-light photography, the Oppo F19s does a satisfactory job. While using the night mode, the smartphone does take some time to process the image but, the result obtained is quite decent. The images obtained under low-light settings do look good at a glance but, at closer inspection, it does seem to have a lack of clarity. On the other hand, the macro and depth sensors tend to deliver acceptable results as compared to other smartphones in this category. The device also offers a 16MP selfie camera. The image is quite decent but can be over exposed but grainy at times. In terms of its performance, the F19s comes in with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As for the battery, the phone has been incorporated with a 5000mAh battery with 33W Flash Charge support. Overall, it is a great phone to be explored, depending on the need and preference of the user.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.65%: Such a poor rating is rare. There are only a few notebooks that were rated even worse. The rating websites do not give a purchase recommendation here.
