Reviews for the Huawei MatePad T10S
Despite the low price, the Huawei MatePad T10s wants to be the go-to tablet for everything. However, the entry-level tablet reveals some weaknesses in our review that are better solved by a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 and other such competing tablets.

Okay, let’s finally talk more about the price. Locally, the Huawei MatePad T 10s is available for PHP 12,999. And honestly, we think it’s a pretty good deal. It’s not the best out there, but you get what you pay for, and maybe even more with the ample storage and high-quality audio.

Being the middle child of Huawei’s expanding MatePad line, the MatePad T 10S gives an ideal balance between the more expensive MatePad and the more affordable MatePad T 10 and T 8. It has the niceties of the MatePad with its Full HD display, USB-C, and Harman Kardon-tuned speakers, while having a price that is more accessible to consumers.

Huawei MatePad T10s is an entry-level but affordable tablet. Despite its low price, the Huawei MatePad T10s still has strong hardware specifications. The 450g Huawei tablet is only available in blue. Visually, the MatePad T10s impresses with high quality, and the build quality is at a good level for an entry-level tablet. The aluminium back is ergonomic, and thanks to the light matte finish, fingerprints aren't immediately apparent. The front is made entirely of scratch-resistant display glass that blends smoothly with the metal frame. The bezels around the IPS display are fairly wide, which is also reflected in the 77 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The Huawei MatePad T10s has a larger 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a pixel density of 220ppi. It is clear and pleasing to the eye, with symmetrical and narrow borders on all sides, and a wide field of vision. Huawei's sharp screen display technology, the picture is fresh and the movie watching is more hearty. With TÜV Rheinland certified Eye Comfort to reduce harmful blue light, this tablet offers better eye comfort for daily use. Aside from the screen size, the main difference is the storage version, the T10s comes in 2GB RAM + 32GB storage and 3GB RAM + 64GB storage versions. The MatePad T10s has a processor of HiSilicon Kirin 710A 8 x 2 GHz, Cortex-A73/-A53 and a graphic adapter of ARM Mali-G51 MP4.
A super practical function worth mentioning is the multitasking function of Huawei MatePad T 10s, that is, the Multitasking function, which is really is quite convenient. Two "windows" can be opened at the same time. The most important thing is that the user can adjust the size of the "window" at will, and the operation method is very simple. One of the most special features is that the Huawei MatePad T10s provides the "Kids Corner" application, which is very suitable for families with children who are addicted to electronic products. Parents can customize the time their children play with the tablet, and parents can also adjust the time management for their children to play with the Huawei MatePad T10s. In conclusion, the Huawei MatePad T10s delivers a lot for its price point. It is targeted as an entry-level study and entertainment device for kids. Parents can be more rest assured when their children use the tablet. Not only that, it is also a good entertainment device for adults who require a device at a budget.

This is a standard display format for tablet computers or small convertibles. You see more on the screen than on a smartphone but you can't use big resolutions well. On the other hand, mobility is not a problem.

75.65%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
