Reviews for the Huawei MatePad Air (2026)

HUAWEI MatePad Air (2026) Review – Thin, Light, and Surprisingly Powerful
Source: Yugatech English

The HUAWEI MatePad Air (2026) is an interesting tablet because its biggest strength isn’t really one particular feature. It’s how everything comes together. The 12-inch 2.8K OLED PaperMatte display is excellent for both entertainment and productivity. It’s form-factor and weight make it remarkably portable.

Huawei MatePad Air 2026 Review: The OLED Upgrade Changes Everything
Source: Yanko Design English

The Huawei MatePad Air 2026 makes a strong case for itself with its slim design, excellent OLED PaperMatte display, solid battery life, and thoughtful stylus support. It feels well suited to people who want a premium tablet for reading, sketching, note-taking, and entertainment without carrying something heavy or awkward. The main caveat is the software experience.

Huawei MatePad Air (2026) Hands-on Review
Source: Emkwan Reviews English

In this review I test WPS AI, HUAWEI Notes, AI handwriting enhancement, speech-to-text, Live-Multitask and the features designed to make the MatePad Air feel more like a laptop replacement. I also take a look at the 12-inch 2.8K OLED PaperMatte display, 144Hz refresh rate, M-Pencil Pro, Smart Magnetic Keyboard and ultra-thin 5.3mm design.

70% Huawei MatePad Air 2026 Review: A super-likable lightweight tablet
Source: Phone Arena English

Huawei’s tablets aren’t as widely available as its wearables, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t good. Quite the contrary: I’ve had the chance to use a number of Huawei MatePads over the last couple of years, and most of them left me with very positive impressions. This is not the cheapest tablet out there, but the bundle does present a relatively enticing deal, especially if you’re into a matte tablet display.

Huawei MatePad Air (2026) Review: Almost Everything You'll Want From a Tablet
Source: Android Headlines English

The main obstacle when it comes to buying this tablet is the same as with any other Huawei smartphone and tablet these days: the lack of GMS. If you’re willing to fire up MicroG and Aurora Store, which is immensely easy, you’ll get a similar experience. Just note that a very small number of apps may give you headaches. Its chip is also not the best, but unless you’re a power gamer, that shouldn’t bother you. Everything else is outstanding on this tablet.
