The 10th gen Core i5-10300H is so similar to both the 9th gen Core i5-9300H and 8th gen Core i5-8300H that it's only worth upgrading if you own a laptop with the Core i5-7300HQ/i7-7700HQ or older. As a budget gaming laptop, the GF75 10SCXR is essentially identical to last year's cheaper GF75 9SC with no performance surprises despite the next-gen CPU.

MSI is a Taiwanese based company with a solid hardware manufacturing history for over 3 decades. When it comes to Laptops, they have affinity for the gaming community with an wide portfolio of gaming laptops. The GF series are affordable gaming laptops for budget gamers. What I got here is the MSI GF75 Thin 10S, a bigger full sized laptop that should be good both for gaming and content creation without spending much.
