Potential for improvement. ProBook, EliteBook, ZBook: Keeping track of HP's model range is increasingly difficult. With the ProBook 445 G10, we test one of the manufacturer's cheaper AMD-based office laptops with a surprisingly bright display.

Compact, light, good. Dell provides a 13.3-inch compact laptop that is somewhat lighter than the 14-inch Latitude 7440 recently reviewed, but this comes at the expense of minor sacrifices. Our Dell Latitude 7340 review indicates which tiny notebook is the superior pick.

Latecomer. The X15 aims to woo buyers with its price of around US$1,050 - however, it only features tech from 2022 (Alder Lake). Our review will reveal whether this laptop is a real bargain or if it is simply not worth the money.

Long runner. While some notebooks from HP feel more like plastic bombers, the ZBook Firefly looks pretty high-end. We tested the current 14-inch AMD-based G10 A variant and reveal its strengths and weaknesses.

Raptor Lake H45 and 90 Hz display. Schenker has upgraded its compact Vision 14 Ultrabook with an Intel Raptor Lake processor and an optional GeForce RTX 3050. In review today is the iGPU variant, which achieves very long runtimes thanks to a 99 Wh battery and scores with very good maintenance options.

A job well done. The gaming laptop from XMG benefits from moderate noise emissions, comparatively low power consumption and still high performance levels (Ryzen 7 7840HS, GeForce RTX 4050). Completing the setup are good runtimes and a decent price (from around US$1,170).

Raptor without endurance. Lenovo puts an OLED panel into its ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 Intel. This screen delivers a great picture quality, but an important aspect of this business laptop is suffering from the screen choice: the battery life.

Leftovers recycling Deluxe. Microsoft updates the compact Surface Laptop Go and equips the 3rd generation with an Alder Lake Core i5 processor. Furthermore, there is now an optional 16 GB of RAM, but the important keyboard backlight is still missing. At the same time, the price has increased further.

Peak performer. The XMG Apex 17 proves that gaming laptops don't have to produce excessive noise: Despite high-level performance (Ryzen 7 7840HS, GeForce RTX 4060) the computer manages to run quietly. This is accompanied by well-rounded specs and decent battery life.

More ports and noisier fans. Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Studio is a pretty unique product and the second generation gets much faster components as well as more ports, but the foldable display is identical. Raptor X. Lenovo upgrades its ThinkPad X13 Gen 4 with an OLED screen and 5G. With these premium features, it is much closer to the ThinkPad X1 Carbon - without giving the X13 any unique idenity.

Quiet operation and long battery life. After reviewing the top version of the new EliteBook 845 G10, we now take a look at an exciting configuration with the low-power display and the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U. Thanks to lower power limits, this configuration remains much quieter when working.

Asus ROG Ally alternative. For around US$1000, the Aokzoe A1 costs as much as many full-fledged laptops. It certainly performs like one, but the fan noise and integrated buttons leave a lot to be desired.

Tame Raptor. With the ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 4, Lenovo has released the newest member of its traditional business convertible series. This new model has a retooled design with much improved battery life numbers, but a puny performance.

Affordable business laptop with a big screen. Lenovo expands its ThinkPad E-series lineup with a 16-inch version. The new ThinkPad E16 G1 uses a familiar AMD Ryzen processor in combination with a bright WQHD panel.

T raptor. The 2023 version of the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 uses Intel CPUs of the Raptor Lake series. With the new CPUs, the power usage seems to be lower compared to the predecessor, but apart from this, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 Intel does not seem like a big upgrade.

Magnesium case and LTE. The EliteBook 1040 G10 is the business flagship from HP and a direct competitor to the ThinkPad X1 Carbon from Lenovo. However, the current Core i5 processor from Intel doesn't offer a lot of performance, and the display of our test unit doesn't reach the values specified by the manufacturer.

Freedom of choice. Alienware's gaming notebook provides an extremely flexible hardware configuration. Our test device offers lots of performance (Core i7-13700HX, GeForce RTX 4060) and a decent level of equipment. Battery runtimes, however, are unable to keep pace with the times.

Shimmering lightweight. While hardly weighing 1 kg (~2.2 lb), the subnotebook from LG is very well equipped with the Intel Core i7-1360P, 32 GB of working memory, and OLED display. Aside from the performance, the Gram Style also offers some other qualities. What immediate strikes us, is the case surface that can shimmer in all rainbow colors. And the laptop is also able to operate completely quietly - aside from some strange exception.

AMD's 3D V-Cache now inside a laptop. The ROG Strix SCAR 17 X3D is the first gaming laptop to feature AMD's newest Ryzen 9 7945HX3D processor which, for the first time ever, relies on 3D cache. Additionally, it is fitted with a GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop which runs all modern games smoothly on the device's fast QHD display.

Now with a 16:10 display. Lenovo is updating its inexpensive ThinkPad E14 office notebook with new cases and 16:10 displays. Ryzen 7000 chips from AMD are installed for the processors, which are well-known processors. However, the keyboard has gotten worse.
