Epic Games has stepped up its weekly giveaway this week with not one but two games, as well as various free in-game items for Apex Legends. While the storefront only gave away LumbearJack last week, it has now switched to DNF Duel and CYGNI: All Guns Blazing, the latter of which Konami released a few days ago.

Epic Games has returned to giving away a slew of content this week through its 'Free Games' service. To recap, the company offered LumbearJack last week, which retails for $12.99, having discounted F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch and in-games for Olympic Go! Paris 2024 a week before that. Surprisingly, it has included an additional game this time around to what it announced last week.

As expected, CYGNI: All Guns Blazing is arguably the lead giveaway this week, despite being released on August 5. Generally available for $29.99, the 'next generation of shoot-em ups' averages 81/100 on Metacritic but has only received 58% positive user reviews on Steam. Please note that CYGNI: All Guns Blazing has comparatively high recommended system requirements for an Epic Games Store giveaway game:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600/Intel Core i5-12400
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600XT/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (6 GB VRAM)
  • Storage: 25 GB

Moreover, this week's giveaway includes the Conduit Free Unlock Bundle for Apex Legends, a popular free battle royale game. Please note that this merely includes the 'Aqua Flow' Flatline Epic Skin and a new Conduit character. On top of that, Epic Games has decided to provide account holders with the opportunity to download DNF Duel for free again, having previously done so at the end of last year. Available for $49.99, DNF Duel brings the total value of this week's giveaway to $79.98. For reference, NEXON and NEOPLE recommend at least the following hardware to run its beat’em up on Windows:

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
  • Storage: 20 GB
