Cooler Master GP57ZS: New 57-inch Mini LED gaming monitor detailed with 90 W USB-C and HDMI 2.1 ports
Cooler Master has plenty of gaming monitors in development, including the Mini LED-backed GP27QP and OLED-based GZ2713. While the company has not released either of these yet, both are expected to arrive this summer. Additionally, it previously teased the GP57ZS, about which it has now shared more details online.
As such, we can now confirm that the GP57ZS relies upon a 57-inch VA panel, just like the Odyssey Neo G9 G95NC (curr. $2,198.12 on Amazon) and presumably also the forthcoming Acer Predator Z57. Additionally, the panel has a 1500R curvature, a 7,680 x 2,160-pixel (DUHD) native resolution and a 32:9 aspect ratio. On top of that, the GP57ZS offers a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms GtG/MPRT response times and Adaptive Sync variable refresh rate (VRR) technology.
Moreover, the included 2,304 Mini LED local dimming zones ensure VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification and not only provide 400 nits SDR brightness but also 1,000 nits HDR brightness. Furthermore, the panel is said to deliver 98% DCI-P3 and 99% sRGB Colour space coverages. Unfortunately, pricing and availability still remain unknown, although Cooler Master has now confirmed that the GP57ZS features the following ports:
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 2x HDMI 2.1 (specifications unconfirmed)
- 4x USB 3.2 Type-A
- 1x USB Type-B
- 1x USB Type-C (90 W Power Delivery)
