Acer has quietly released the Predator X39, one of many OLED gaming monitors that it has announced this year. Now available across multiple markets, including Australia and the Eurozone, the 240 Hz gaming monitor has also landed in the US with a healthy launch discount worth almost $200.

Acer is gradually releasing a series of long-awaited monitors, having offered up the Predator X32 X3 and Predator X34 V3 at the end of last month. This time, the company has turned to the Predator X39, which it showcased over six months ago during CES 2024 in Las Vegas.

At the time, Acer claimed that it would be launching the monitor 'from Q2 2024'. However, it seems that did not come to pass for one reason or another as the Predator X39 appears to have only just started appearing on third-party retailer websites worldwide. Similarly, the monitor is considerably more expensive than its original €1,449 MSRP.

To recap, the Predator X39 combines a 3,440 x 1,440-pixel resolution with a 240 Hz refresh rate across its 39-inch OLED panel. Additionally, the 800R curved monitor boasts 0.01 ms GtG response times, as well as AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and a VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification. On top of that, the Predator X39 contains a host of ports like a 90 W USB Type-C connection, plus a KVM switch for transitioning peripherals between two connected devices when necessary.

Ultimately, it appears that the Predator X39 utilises the same panel as the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM and LG UltraGear OLED 39GS95QE. Currently, Acer's effort sells for €1,599.99 in the Eurozone and $1,599.99 in the US, or A$2,499.00 in Australia or PHP 69,999 (~$1,220) in the Philippines. With that being said, Amazon US has already discounted the Predator X39 to $1,421.53, an 11% saving on its MSRP.
