Philips has released yet another 32-inch gaming monitor built around a modern Samsung Display Gen 3 QD-OLED panel. Sold as the Evnia 32M2N8900, the gaming monitor also boasts plenty of ports and Philips software features like Smart Crosshair, Smart Sniper and others.

Philips continues to introduce new Evnia-branded gaming monitors at a rate of knots. For instance, hardly any time has passed since it confirmed the global releases of both the Evnia 32M2N6800M and Evnia 27M2C5200W. Nonetheless, it has now moved onto the Evnia 32M2N8900.

As its name suggests, the Evnia 32M2N8900 relies upon a 32-inch display, although this actually measures 31.5-inches diagonally. Additionally, Philips has returned to Samsung Display's Gen 3 QD-OLED panel, which also underpins the Evnia 32M2N8800 and the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM (curr. $1,299.99 on Amazon), among others. Thus, the Evnia 32M2N8900 outputs at 4K with a 240 Hz refresh rate, 250 nits peak SDR brightness and 140 PPI pixel density.

Moreover, Philips bundles a stand that can be titled, swivelled and adjusted by up to 130 mm in height. Ultimately, little separates the Evnia 32M2N8900 from the Evnia 32M2N8800. As far as we can tell, the former only adds improved colour accuracy in some respects over the latter but with a less height-adjustable stand (130 mm vs. 150 mm). For reference, Philips has also included the following ports; unfortunately, Philips has not confirmed pricing or availability yet:

  • 1x 3.5 mm jack
  • 1x DisplayPort 1.4
  • 2x HDMI 2.1
  • 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
  • 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B
  • 1x USB Type-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode/Power Delivery)
