It also provides accurate colors and the high contrast ratio expected in its category. Already more feature-packed than the average gaming monitor, the Odyssey G8 has fallen to its lowest Amazon sale price. Gamers can add the versatile 4K display to their desktops for $850.

This G8 does not possess the curved screen of many ultrawide OLED monitors in the Odyssey line. Instead, the flat 32-inch alternative features a conventional metal-clad design that suits most setups. Xbox Cloud Gaming is possible even when a PC isn't connected to the display. Owners can also switch inputs using a remote control. Similarly, two HDMI 2.1 inputs make the smart monitor appealing to console gamers.

If buyers prioritize productivity, they may prefer another 32-inch OLED gaming monitor, such as the MSI MPG 321URX. While having similar specs, the MSI model boasts a KVM switch and power delivery through a USB port. Still, it's hard to top the Samsung Odyssey G8 as an all-around candidate for gaming and streaming.
