The ViewSonic LDS138-151 LED monitor has a screen size of 138 inches is over 10 ft wide. To ensure the screen can still fit through doorways and into elevators, ViewSonic mounts the left and right quarters of the display on a hinge, which means they can be folded inwards. With the stand retracted, the monitor’s dimensions shrink to 6.8 by 6.5 by 2.8 ft, but it still weighs a whopping 551 lb.
This "Direct View" LED screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which results in a relatively low pixel density of 16 PPI. The panel also has a contrast ratio of 6500:1 and a full-screen brightness of 600 nits. ViewSonic further advertises a lifespan of 100,000 hours. In the event of a defect, the panel can be opened from the front in order to replace individual components.
An IP54 certification means the display is protected against dust and water splashes. Meanwhile, its height can be adjusted by the motorized stand, and wheels make it easy to change the screen's position. ViewSonic advertises the LDS138-151 as an all-in-one solution, as it features Android 9 and 32GB of internal storage. This allows content to be played natively on the monitor without a separate media player. ViewSonic also includes two 30-watt stereo speakers, four HDMI ports, Wi-Fi as well as two 3.5mm headphone jacks.
