Samsung's next set of Galaxy Watch smartwatches are anticipated to officially arive on July 9 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Flip FE and possibly even a glimpse at a first 'Ultra' tri-fold. In the meantime, the ever-reliable billbil_kun has shared extensive details about all of the smartwatches that Samsung will be introducing next week.
Writing on Dealabs, the leaker reiterates that Samsung will replace the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra (curr. $339 - refurbished on Amazon) with three new models. As previous rumours indicated, the Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic are set to retail for €50-€60 (~$60-$82) more than last year's models. At least in France, billbil_kun reports that the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 Edition will land for the same price as its 2024 counterpart.
Surprisingly, billbil_kun also expects Samsung to utilise the Exynos W1000 again, with no direct successor offered. Likewise, 2 GB of RAM will make another appearance, as will 32 GB of built-in storage for the base Galaxy Watch8. By contrast, the Galaxy Watch8 Classic and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 Edition should line up with 64 GB of storage. Apparently, Samsung will not be introducing any new sensors this year, either. Moreover, 3,000 nits AMOLED displays will return for a new generation too. Pricing for the new smartwatches and full specifications are as follows:
Galaxy Watch8
- 40 mm: €379.99 (Bluetooth) / €429.99 (LTE)
- 44 mm: €409.99 (Bluetooth) / €459.99 (LTE)
Galaxy Watch8 Classic
- 46 mm: €529.99 (Bluetooth) / €579.99 (LTE)
Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025)
