Garmin is wasting no time in delivering new bug fixes and features to the Enduro 3, Fenix E, Fenix 8 and Tactix 8 on its public Beta Program. Just a few days ago, the company introduced Beta Version 17.12 with four new features, six bug fixes and improvements associated with the Evening Report Greeting Page on MiP-backed devices. Shortly before that, Beta Version 17.11 arrived with a fifty-eight-line changelog from Software Version 15.32.
Now, the company has pivoted to Beta Version 17.13 that one must download manually on the Enduro 3, Fenix E, Fenix 8 and Tactix 8 (curr. $1,299 on Amazon). To do so, navigate through the Main Menu on your smartwatch when enrolled on the Beta Program, followed by System and Software Update before selecting 'Check for Updates'. Please note that Garmin may switch the update's distribution to an over-the-air (OTA) download later down the line.
According to Garmin's forum post, Beta Version 17.13 brings another eleven changes to its current high-end smartwatches. Of these, only one is a new feature, which Garmin describes as a 'Tap In' option for its new Evening Report Workouts Page. Please see the changelog below for full details.
