Samsung has finally confirmed that one of the most anticipated gaming monitors of the year will also be launched in other regions. The Odyssey OLED G6 features a 27-inch QD-OLED panel that offers an incredibly high refresh rate of 500Hz.

The Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 was originally announced at CES 2025 in January, and now Samsung has finally confirmed that the gaming monitor will launch in more markets soon. More specifically, its German debut is planned for the second half of 2025, and it’s reasonable to assume that other European markets will follow soon after. That said, a specific MSRP or release date has not been communicated yet.

For reference, the monitor is already being sold for the equivalent of €1,138 in Singapore. In order to be notified as soon as the monitor can be ordered in Germany, shoppers can set a price alert. The technical highlight of the Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF) is arguably the high 500Hz refresh rate that is combined with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Most other competitors with similarly fast panels only offer Full-HD 1080p resolution, such as the Alienware AW2524HF, which currently retails for $449 on Amazon.

Compared to fast TN panels, Samsung promises significantly better picture quality as it uses a 27-inch QD-OLED panel that sports a peak HDR brightness of 1,000 nits and 99% DCI-P3 color space coverage. Burn-in should be prevented by a passive cooling system and features like automatic taskbar dimming.

Moreover, the Samsung OLED monitor has an anti-reflective finish and supports Nvidia G-Sync as well as AMD FreeSync Premium Pro in order to prevent screen tearing. Connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports. While the South Korean company has opted against USB-C, it includes a USB-A hub with two ports and up to 5Gbit/s. Lastly, Samsung provides a three-year warranty for the Odyssey OLED G6.
