ASUS has now started selling the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP in the US, shortly after the monitor landed in Europe. Rivalling the LG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP is one of the few monitors that supports 4K/240 Hz and 1080p/480 Hz modes across its OLED panel.

ASUS has now released its LG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE (curr. $1,196.99 on Amazon) rival in the US, roughly a week after the monitor's European debut. Please note that while ASUS has only just started selling the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP, it is one of the monitors that the company showcased in January at CES 2024.

In summary, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP appears to be one of three monitors that utilise LG Display's dual display mode WOLED panel alongside the aforementioned UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE and ViewSonic's XG323-4K-OLED2. Consequently, although it defaults to a 4K resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate like QD-OLED competitors such as the Predator X32 X3, it can boost its refresh rate to 480 Hz by dropping its resolution to 1080p. Moreover, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP should be up to 30% brighter than competing QD-OLED monitors when viewing HDR content.

With that being said, its 1,300 nits peak brightness drops to 250 nits with SDR content active. Currently, ASUS is offering the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP for $1,299.99 through Best Buy, BH Photo Video and Newegg. For reference, the monitor ships with the following ports:

  • 1x 3.5 mm jack
  • 1x DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC)
  • 2x HDMI 2.1
  • 3x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
  • 1x USB Type-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode/90 W Power Delivery)
