Deal | Acer Nitro V 16-inch gaming laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS and RTX 4060 discounted down to $879.99

Introduced in late 2023 as a budget-oriented lineup, Acer’s Nitro V gaming laptop series offers solid value, especially for configurations under $1,000. One of the best deals currently available for a Nitro V laptop can be found on Ebay, where an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS + RTX 4060 (85W) 16-inch model is on sale for $879.99. 

Unlike other brands that sacrifice quality in the display and port selection departments. Acer actually offers a decent 16-inch panel and good connectivity for the ANV16-41-R5K2 configuration available on Ebay. Granted, the 1920 x 1200 resolution is nothing special and the maximum 320 nit brightness might not be great for outdoor use, but at least it comes with 165 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color gamut.

The Ryzen 7 8845HS + Nvidia RTX 4060 combo is complemented by 16 GB DDR5-5600 RAM (upgradable to 256 GB) and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD (upgradable to 4 TB via a vacant M.2 slot). USB4 connectors are rarely seen at such price points, but this variant features one along with 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, an HDMI 2.1 video out and audio plus GbE jacks. Wireless Internet access is offered via a Wi-Fi 6E + BT 5.3 card. There is also an orange backlit keyboard with numpad.

A few minor downsides here would be the 720p webcam and the slightly bulky chassis with 1-inch profile and 5.51 lbs weight including a 57 Wh battery.
