Acer Predator eNomad-R new powerful fat tire e-bike revealed
Acer has launched a new eNomad range, which features two e-bikes: the Predator eNomad-R and eNomad-R ST. The eNomad bicycles have been introduced as more versatile alternatives to the flagship ebii, suited to a broader range of terrains. The models are currently being shown at EUROBIKE 2024 alongside other upcoming e-bikes like the ebii elite.
The Predator eNomad-R is powered by a 750W rear hub motor, a significant upgrade on the 250W motor used on the ebii. eNomad-R and eNomad-R ST feature a front suspension fork to make your ride more comfortable on rougher surfaces and Kenda 20x4” fat tires for enhanced grip. We also know that the 9-speed e-bike uses a Shimano Cues transmission and has an aluminum alloy frame. Plus, thanks to Bluetooth LE connectivity, you can remotely adjust the e-bike’s settings and track its location via GPS in the Acer eMobility App.
Product images show a step-over frame with a motorcycle-style seat and front headlight, as well as a kickstand and mudguards. Acer has not officially announced the differences between the eNomad-R and eNomad-R ST. However, photos suggest that the ST will use MAXXIS tires and have a step-through frame with a rear luggage rack. Further details, such as the e-bikes’ range and weight, have yet to be revealed. The Acer Predator eNomad-R and eNomad-R ST will launch between October and December 2024, but the price of these e-bikes remain to be seen.
