The Throne X stool vibrates in response to music played to enhance the feeling of immersion or on its own in metronome mode to improve one's ability to maintain a steady tempo. Additionally, the chair can be connected to standard PA systems for audio input.

Cooler Master has launched an Indiegogo campaign for its Throne X immersive stool that vibrates to musical performances. Primarily targeted to musicians, the stool can also be used by others who want their chair to rock to the beat of music, such as those with hearing disabilities or gamers playing rhythm games like Persona 5 (sold here on Amazon). The early bird pricing of $499 is a 27% savings off the MSRP of $600.

The Throne X has three operating modes selected by the wired controller. In real-time mode, the stool vibrates to the performance of the user. In audio mode, the stool vibrates to the performance of others in the band. In metronome mode, the stool helps performers maintain their tempo.

Readers who have trouble maintaining a steady tempo can also use a clip-on metronome (like this one on Amazon) or a tuner metronome (like this one on Amazon).

Throne X can be used with standard PA systems, with jacks for 3.5 mm aux, 6.3 mm aux, and 6.3 mm dynamic microphone inputs, and a jack for 3.5 mm headphone output. The stool vibrates in the frequency range of 20 Hz to 200 Hz.

The chair weighs 34.8 lbs. (15.8 kg) and can support users weighing up to 300 lbs. (136 kg). The height can be adjusted between 22.28 and 26.77 in. (56.6 and 68 cm). The internal 6,400 mAh battery provides up to ten hours of runtime and recharges in five hours.
