RedMagic Titan 16 Pro gears up for release to international market
The formerly exclusively mobile gaming brand RedMagic touts its first-gen laptop as "all-metal and all-powerful" - now, it is about to become multi-regional too. The Titan 16 Pro is to be unleashed outside China soon.
As the name suggests, it is a 16-inch PC with a 2.5K display; however, it might not be the exact same machine as initially debuted by RedMagic.
For one thing, it is being teased as having an industry-leading "Core i9-14900H" processor rather than specifying the i9-14900HX of the Chinese edition for some reason, thus casting slight doubt as to whether it really will be the latter.
For another, the OEM has only mentioned RTX 4060 graphics in respect to its global counterpart thus far, whereas the 'domestic' version also has RTX 4070 options.
Then again, that might make it more accessible in terms of price on its debut in nearly 13 days from now (August 20, 2024). For context, the base Titan 16 Pro model started at the equivalent of ~$1,533 on its original release, whereas the 14900HX/4060-powered version of the ROG Strix G16 is currently $1,999 on Amazon.
