RedMagic Gaming Tablet 3 tipped to launch with new flagship Snapdragon chipset in 2025

The RedMagic Gaming Tablet 2 is slated to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition very soon. However, the 2025 iteration of its Android-powered series is now also under discussion on the leaks circuit. It is projected to come with even newer Qualcomm silicon; then again, there might be a greater choice of devices with the same specs on the market by them.

According to noted leaker Digital Chat Station, the second-gen RedMagic Gaming Tablet will debut by the end of August 2024 as an Android device powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition as the 9S Pro flagship smartphone (now available to buy on Amazon).

Then again, the slate's successor is now also in the works. The RedMagic Gaming Tablet 3 might land with the updated Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. It might land with a display no more than 12.5 inches in diagonal length, with the prodigious tipster now hinting that the super-sized trend is not catching on after all - in fact, high-end devices with screens smaller than expected might be taking off instead.

Then again, the third-gen Gaming Tablet is thought to face off with at least 1 rival with the same internal specs and display size in 2025. A successor to the OnePlus Pad 2 (or OPPO Pad3) is a viable contender - although Lenovo does also like to release the odd high-performance compact tablet
