RedMagic Gaming Tablet 2 pre-orders open ahead of imminent launch
Nubia's gaming brand RedMagic had been thought to launch its second-gen Android tablet by the end of August 2024; however, it is now officially slated to debut on September 5 instead.
The slate might be worth waiting for, however, as RedMagic asserts that it will unleash a "storm of performance" on the tablet market. The teaser may or may not support rumors that it will be powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition processor as the brand's flagship 9S Pro smartphone.
The tablet will certainly have a Qualcomm platform, as RedMagic has also revealed that it will support Snapdragon Elite Gaming features such as Game Fast Loader, Game Smoother, and Game Network Latency Manager.
Interestingly, more of the new Gaming Tablet's trailers hint that it might come in compact (like this Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 on Amazon) and less compact versions, thereby possibly appealing to a wider range of consumers.
