RedMagic Gaming Tablet 2 tipped to launch with air-cooled Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version
The first-gen Gaming Tablet was hard to pick out as a RedMagic mobile device, with its plain rear panel devoid of the same active cooling and open vents of the brand's cutting-edge flagship smartphones. However, the slate's successor is now backed to do better in this regard.
RedMagic has just confirmed that its upcoming tablet will debut with ICE 2.0 cooling for the Leading Version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. According to the noted leaker Digital Chat Station, this thermal management system is to integrate an actual fan.
It might be joined by "the strongest fast charging and battery life solution for tablets", even though it might actually come with a screen of even less than 8 inches in diagonal length.
RedMagic has yet to confirm or deny these reports, although the brand does now assert that the Gaming Tablet 2 can score no less than 2,353,902 on the AnTuTu Benchmark.
Accordingly, the product is starting to sound more and more like a larger version of the 9S Pro as its September 2024 debut draws nearer. Then again, the Gaming Tablet 2 is also tipped to have an LCD screen rather than an AMOLED panel - albeit one of 2.8K in resolution.
