Nubia offers first official look at new RedMagic 9S Pro ahead of launch
Nubia has shared some official photos of the upcoming RedMagic 9S Pro. As previously teased by the company, the phone is coming with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 "leading version." It's basically an overclocked variant of the standard SoC, and it aims to deliver higher overall performance.
Getting back to the photos, they showcase the upcoming gaming flagship in four different options. Two of them have a transparent back, similar to what we've seen in RedMagic 9 Pro (available on Amazon). These images also show the phone featuring a "true fullscreen" display with an under-display camera.
Besides these, Nubia has also shared a couple of core specs of the RedMagic 9S Pro. Per the posts on the company's Weibo account, the upcoming flagship phone will sport the ICE 3.5 cooling system, which aims to lower the CPU temperature by up to 25° C and body temperature by up to 19.5° C. Given that there's an active cooling fan, these claims don't seem impossible to achieve.
In addition, the company has confirmed that the RedMagic 9S Pro will pack a 6500 mAh battery. Nubia says that it can easily offer two days of runtime with a single charge. The phone also has support for 165W wired fast charging, which should get the battery from 0% to 100% fast.
There's no word on pricing details yet, and we don't know if Nubia will bring the RedMagic 9S Pro outside China. However, the predecessor, the 8S Pro, made its way to the global market, and we may see the same happen with the upcoming phone.
