RedMagic debuts new DAO GaN charger with 140W fast charging support and four USB ports

The RedMagic DAO 140W GaN charger made its debut in China yesterday. This fast charger combines GaN 6 and AHB architecture to keep the form factor compact and deliver reliable charging. Thanks to the support for PD 3.1, it's compatible with a wide range of devices too.

That includes laptops, gaming handhelds, phones, and accessories. Speaking of which, you can power up multiple devices with this fast charging brick. It sports four USB ports, with three being USB Type-C and one USB Type-A. RedMagic hasn't yet specified the charging configuration of these ports, but as the name gives away, the total power output is 140W.

Other than that, RedMagic says that the DAO 140W charging adapter comes with efficient 3.0 tech. This aims to efficiently manage the heat of the charging brick while you power up devices. There are multiple protection features as well. They ensure that you get a stable charging.

Pricing-wise, this RedMagic DAO GaN charger costs CNY 269 in China, which is about $37. The company hasn't said anything about global launch and pricing yet, but it did bring its previous DAO fast chargers outside the Chinese market (DAO 150W available on Amazon).
