RedMagic launches its first gaming laptop with Intel Core i9 and up to RTX 4070
RedMagic has introduced its very first gaming laptop, the Titan 16 Pro. It comes with a top-end Intel 14th gen processor. More specifically, it features the Intel Core i9 14900HX, which sports 24 cores and 32 threads. This CPU is paired with a 1 TB SSD and up to 32 GB of RAM.
As for the GPU, RedMagic is offering two options. The base model comes with the Nvidia RTX 4060, while the top-end variant features the RTX 4070. The gaming laptop has a 16-inch screen with a 240 Hz refresh rate, up to 500 nits of brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 3 ms GtG response time.
To keep the components cool, RedMagic has integrated the "Magic Cooling" system into the Titan 16 Pro. It has two large-sized fans that can operate at 3,850 RPM, offering an air pressure of 13.8 CFM. This setup is said to allow the hardware inside to deliver up to 195W of performance.
Besides, RedMagic Titan 16 Pro features an aluminum alloy body, which the company previously said to have a MacBook-level build quality. There are a good number of ports as well, including:
- 1x Thunderbolt 4
- 1x USB 3.2 Type-C
- 1x USB 3.2 Type-A
- 1x HDMI 2.1
- 1x UHS-II SD card reader
- 1x Gigabit Ethernet
- 1x audio jack
Other highlights of the gaming laptop include 100W fast charging support through the USB Type-C, stereo speaker setup with DTS:X Ultra audio, FHD webcam with IR, and an 80.1 Wh battery. The RedMagic Titan 16 Pro starts at CNY 10,499 (about $1,444), while the top-end model costs CNY 12,999 (about $1,788) in China.
