Epic Games has swapped out its free game of the week, having offered Sunless Skies from June 27. This time, the storefront is offering a unique aerial combat game that received a BAFTA nomination.

Epic Games has now refreshed its weekly game giveaway. Incidentally, a renowned leaker has already revealed the game that will replace this week's free game, full details of which we have covered separately. For reference, Sunless Skies: Sovereign Edition has been free to download from June 27 until earlier today.

Now, the storefront is offering The Falconeer, an aerial combat game that Wired Productions published at the start of the decade. Please note that you must have an Epic Games Store account to redeem the game. Additionally, you must actively redeem The Falconeer; Epic Games will not automatically add the game to your library.

Nonetheless, redeeming the game once will add it to your library indefinitely. For context, The Falconeer typically sells for $19.99 in its base game form. A few game add-ons that are not included in this week's deal though, such as The Hunter and Edge of the World expansions. Also, it is worth noting that The Falconeer has relatively low system requirements. Specifically, the game should run on GPUs as old as the AMD Radeon HD 6770 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660. However, The Falconeer's developer recommends using an AMD Radeon RX 580 or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, as well as 4 GB of RAM and an 'Intel Core i5 or equivalent AMD' processor.
