GOG is giving away another game this week. Available to download until July 6, The First Templar - Special Edition is an action-adventure title that blends 'RPG-inspired' character development with unique abilities and skill trees.

GOG is offering yet another game away from free, a fortnight after giving Shadows: Awakening the same treatment. This time, the storefront has opted for The First Templar - Special Edition, 13 years after the base game debuted globally. For reference, the game averages a mere 57/100 from 19 critic reviews on Metacritic.

In summary, The First Templar - Special Edition is set in the 13th century at the end of the Crusades. Additionally, the game follows two main characters who can be swapped between in the game's single-player mode or assigned to two players in co-op. Moreover, while the game is described as an action-adventure game, Haemimont Games included 'RPG-inspired' character development with unique abilities and skill trees.

Please note that GOG's latest giveaway ends on July 6 at 13:00 UTC. Thus, you have just over two days before the game returns to pre-giveaway pricing. Please see the storefront's The First Templar - Special Edition listing for more redemption details.
