BenQ has finally released the MOBIUZ EX321UX, over four months after the monitor's initial debut. Available for as much as modern QD-OLED equivalents, the BenQ MOBIUZ EX321UX combines a 4K Mini LED panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate, DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity and 1,000 nits peak HDR brightness.

Over four months have passed since BenQ introduced the MOBIUZ EX321UX. Since then, competitors like ASUS, MSI and LG have released various alternatives like the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM, MPG 321URX and UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE (curr. $1,310 on Amazon). While those three rely upon OLED panels, BenQ has opted for an IPS panel supported by 1,152 Mini LED local dimming zones.

As a result, the MOBIUZ EX321UX offers up to 1,000 nits peak brightness with HDR mode activated for which it is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified. Although this is in line with competing WOLED and QD-OLED monitors, the masse of Mini LED dimming zones also allows the MOBIUZ EX321UX to achieve 700 nits peak brightness when viewing SDR content.

Moreover, the 4K monitor has a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms GtG response times and a 1,000:1 native contrast ratio, plus 99% coverages of AdobeRGB and DCI-P3 colour spaces. Furthermore, BenQ has equipped the MOBIUZ EX321UX with the following ports:

  • 1x 3.5 mm jack
  • 1x DisplayPort 2.1
  • 3x HDMI 2.1 (1x eARC)
  • 3x USB Type-A (5 Gbps/4.5 W Power Delivery)
  • 1x USB Type-C (65 W Power Delivery/downstream)
  • 1x USB Type-C (5 Gbps/7.5 W Power Delivery/downstream)
  • 1x USB Type-C (5 Gbps/no Power Delivery/upstream)

The MOBIUZ EX321UX is now available to order in the Eurozone for €1,999.99. By contrast, BenQ intends to sell the same monitor for $1,199.99 in the US. Unfortunately, the monitor is listed as 'coming soon' on BenQ's US website, which is also the case in the UK.
