The RedMagic Titan 16 Pro launched as the company's first gaming laptop, but it's still exclusive to the Chinese market. Well, that's about to change soon because the company has just announced that the laptop will launch in the other markets on August 29.

RedMagic is mostly known for its gaming phone line, with the recently launched 9S Pro being the current top-end offering (16/512 GB curr. $899 on Amazon). The company also sells gaming-focused accessories, but with the launch of Titan 16 Pro, it has entered into the gaming laptop market.

This gaming laptop was fully unveiled on July 3 in China, but so far, it has stayed exclusive to the Chinese market. The good part is that the company has just announced that it will bring the Titan 16 Pro to other markets. More specifically, it will make an international debut on August 29.

However, for the international markets, the laptop will only be offered with an RTX 4060. All variants launched in China come with 1 TB of storage, while the RAM goes up to 32 GB. The global variants will likely be offered in similar memory and storage configurations.

Besides that, the laptop features an aluminum alloy body that was previously touted to be MacBook-level in terms of quality. There are a decent number of ports as well, including:

  • 1x USB 3.2 Type-C
  • 1x Thunderbolt 4
  • 1x USB 3.2 Type-A
  • 1x UHS-II SD card reader
  • 1x HDMI 2.1

  • 1x audio jack

Regarding the screen, the RedMagic Titan 16 Pro sports a 16-inch display with 2560x1600 pixels resolution, 500 nits peak brightness rating, and a 240 Hz refresh rate. The panel is also said to offer 100% DCI-P3 coverage, support G-Sync, and have a 3 ms response time.
