Reviews for the Xiaomi Poco F9 Ultra
Source: Digital Camera World

Historically, Poco phones have been my go-to recommendation for people who want flagship-level gaming at an affordable price. Now, though, I feel like Poco has something to offer for just about everyone. The F9 Ultra has one of the biggest batteries around; it's super powerful, it looks and feels premium, the speakers are top-notch, and the cameras are really impressive, too.

In an era of increasing smartphone prices, the Poco F9 Ultra stands out as a phone that offers very few compromises and even – in some ways – outperforms the mainstream brands, but does so at a price point that’s significantly cheaper. As an example, in the UK, the base-level RRP is £300 less than the entry-level Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Reviewing the Poco F9 Ultra with Xiaomi's HyperOS 3, after one week of using as my full-time phone. Here's how the Poco F9 Ultra's camera tech, battery life, gaming chops etc compare to other 'Ultra' smartphones in 2026. You can grab it now with a special early bird price. While not perfect, this 2026 flagship phone is an enjoyable enough option for more demanding users.
