At Rs 24,999, the Poco M8 Power makes a clear trade-off: it prioritises battery life and display quality over camera performance and a cleaner software experience. The 8,000mAh battery comfortably handles a full day of heavy use and can stretch to around 1.5 days.

The M8 Power makes a lot more sense once you look at what Poco is trying to do with it. The battery is obviously the big selling point, but I think the display deserves just as much attention. It is a good combination for anyone who spends a lot of time watching content or just wants a phone they can use without reaching for a charger. The trade-offs are pretty clear, though.

So where does the Poco M8 Power stand in today’s smartphone market? For an average user, the M8 Power gets plenty right. You get a massive screen that can be ideal for watching shows, and the battery life is impressive too. The performance may not be the best out there, but it is ample enough to handle your day-to-day use.

POCO built the M8 Power around endurance and practicality. The handset packs a huge 8,000mAh battery, a tall OLED display, and a modest Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset inside a bold, recognisable design. The camera setup is simple, and the specifications are a little more controlled to keep costs in check.
