A slide from Asus has revealed that the manufacturer believed there would be an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super Mobile GPU coming from the graphics card company. However, even though there is a GeForce RTX 2080 Super Mobile part and a GeForce RTX 2070 Super Mobile GPU, it appears that there are no further plans for a 2060 variant at the moment.
Update: Asus has issued a short statement about the subject.

The PDHM00 is a phone OPPO has had approved for launch in China. It is thought that it is a second-gen Reno Ace, a sub-series that focuses on select high-end specs. A set of AnTuTu benchmarking results allegedly linked to it show that it has the Snapdragon 865 processor.

As the guessing game behind the name and release date of Apple's next budget smartphone continues, more retailers continue to list the device on the websites. Apple's much-awaited iPhone 12 series is reportedly in its final prototyping stages. The base iPhone 12 will come with a 5.4 or 6.1-inch screen and two cameras, while the larger iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will come with three cameras and 6.1 and 6.7-inch screens respectively. Both phones will also feature a LiDAR sensor next to the camera array. All three iPhone 12 variants will come with Apple's latest A14 SoC and will be 5G-ready out of the box.

A new project turns the Raspberry Pi into a completely portable PC with a display and a slide-out keyboard. Reminiscent of the HTC Dream, Sony VAIO UX or T-Mobile Sidekick, the MutantC_V2 also incorporates a built-in battery.

AMD has EOL'd the StoreMI feature that was offered as a part of X470 and above chipsets. StoreMI allowed for combining up to 256 GB of SSD storage and RAM with traditional hard drives to speed up data access. AMD originally licensed the StoreMI feature from Enmotus but will now be focusing on developing a more feature-rich in-house solution slated to release sometime in Q2 2020.

Clevo has upgraded its barebones designs to feature the new Comet Lake-H and RTX 20 Super Mobile offerings. The new designs in the PB50 and PB70 series feature CPU options up to the Core i9-10880H and GPU options up to the RTX 2070 Super Mobile with some SKUs offering G-Sync displays. OEMs based on Clevo designs such as Schenker have already made available laptops powered by the latest Intel and NVIDIA offerings with more variants set to be available in the coming months.

The upcoming AMD Zen 3 Ryzen 4000 desktop CPUs will likely offer 10-15% IPC gains per thread, according to a new report. Zen 3 will feature up to eight cores per CCX and a 32 MB L3 cache that can potentially improve latency in gaming. Also being confirmed is that Zen 4 will require a new socket and feature a 1 MB L2 cache and AVX 512 support.

An AMD Ryzen 7 4800U has been found on 3DMark’s Fire Strike benchmark racking up a terrific Physics Score. The Ryzen 4000 APU managed 18,588 points, which is higher than the median score that we have achieved with devices sporting an Intel Core i9-9880H. However, the Intel chip can utilize a higher power draw than the new Renoir processor from AMD.

An official image of the upcoming Dell XPS 15 9500 and the XPS 17 9700 along with 2020 Precision mobile workstations was briefly posted on Dell's website before it was taken down. AnTuTu has released its benchmark charts for March and Qualcomm Snapdragon 865-powered devices take up every place in the top 10 flagship list. At the top of the pile is the OPPO Find X2 Pro smartphone, which is the only device in the list to have an average score of over 600,000 points. Phones from Xiaomi, Redmi, vivo, and realme fill in the rest of the positions.

The new Comet Lake-H high-end processor Intel Core i7-10875H has been tested on Geekbench as part of a Gigabyte Aero 15 XB laptop. The results left the Comet Lake chip behind the scores achieved by the Coffee Lake i9-9980HK found in the powerful Acer ConceptD 9 Pro, and the AMD Ryzen 7 4800H in HP’s Pavilion 24 grabbed a much higher multi-core score.

An AMD Ryzen 9 4900U APU has turned up on UserBenchmark as part of a system labeled “AMD Ted3-RN”. The chip managed an excellent single-core score but the weaker multi-core scores show that this is an early engineering sample with more to come yet. The benchmark record details that the Ryzen 9 4900U has 8 cores and 16 threads.

Some marketing material for the Comet Lake-S desktop processors Intel Core i9-10900K, Core i7-10700K, and Core i5-10600K, has been leaked. A lot of the information has already been published online, including the impressive 5.3 GHz boost clock for the i9-10900K. However, it is the i5-10600K that could be the best prospect if priced accordingly.

The Exynos 990 has come in for a lot of criticism internationally. As we have discussed in our reviews of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra, the Exynos 990 is a bit of a stinker. Samsung even dropped its in-house chipset from the Galaxy S20 series in South Korea, apparently leading to feelings of humiliation for the company's Exynos team.

The Exynos 990 being a significantly worse chipset than the Snapdragon 865—or even last year's Snapdragon 855—may as well be fact at this point. Samsung appears to disagree, though, for what it's worth.

Going by recent reports, LG has now killed off its flagship G-series, with the LG G9 ThinQ all but officially dead in the water. According to word on the grapevine, the replacement to the G9 ThinQ has now been penned down for a May 15 launch, and is touted to feature a Snapdragon 765G, four cameras in total, and a 4000 mAh battery.

Xiaomi has launched a new addition to a premium line of its TVs. This Mi Full Screen Pro is a 75-inch model with an aluminium mid-frame and a custom 1.9GHz processor from Amlogic. The Patchwall UI device has a 4K resolution, and also supports Dolby Audio, a voice assistant and smart-home control features.

The 8 Pro is rumored to become OnePlus' first flagship phone with wireless charging. Now, a prominent leaker asserts that the OEM will sell a power accessory to support this feature. This brand is also now rumored to have Bullets Wireless Z earphones in the works.

Samsung is now rumored to have a completely new type of Galaxy Bud in the works. According to a new leak, they will have a much larger shape that looks somewhat like a pair of beans. Some renders generated based on this idea suggests that they may have an improved range of sensors compared to the Buds+.

Intel has witnessed a surprising reversal of fortune in Steam’s Hardware & Software Survey for March in terms of processor usage. While the chipmaker has been losing share against AMD consistently month after month, the latest data from Steam shows that Team Blue has now actually regained a significant amount of ground.

Huawei released the Mate 10 Pro in late 2017 and the P20 Pro about two years ago. The phones have received two major updates—although the EMUI 10 rollout is still ongoing—and while one would expect them to also get the EMUI 10.1 update, seeing as it's based on Android 10, Huawei seems to think otherwise.

It appears that Nvidia’s RTX cards are enjoying increased adoption rates among gamers if Steam’s results for its March Hardware & Software Survey are anything to go by. The top eight video cards by usage in terms of percentage share change are all from Nvidia and five of them are GeForce RTX 20 series cards. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 led the pack with +0.53% change.
