OnePlus may launch a Warp Charge 30 Wireless Charger to go with the 8 Pro

OnePlus is said to break the tradition of a brand-lifetime when it launches the 8 series of phones. Several leaks agree that it will do so by adding wireless charging to the 7 Pro's successor. Furthermore, the leaker Ishan Agarwal claims that this device will be paired with its own-brand power-pad to support this feature.

OnePlus has its own proprietary charging system called Warp Charge, which allows a device to charge at 30 watts (W) in its current generation. Its CEO has insisted in the past that the company would only offer wireless charging if it could deliver the same kind of speeds in a safe and reliable manner: therefore, it may be reasonable to expect a wireless Warp analog should the 8 Pro indeed support this technology.

Agarwal - who issued this leak exclusively through 91Mobiles - did not specify if this "Warp Charge 30  Wireless Charger" might come in the box with the 8 Pro or be sold as a separate accessory. The tipster also now claims that OnePlus will introduce new audio accessories with the phone in question. They will apparently be called the Bullets Wireless Z.

However, they may not be the TWS earbuds many fans of this brand may hope for. It is possible that these new "Zs" will turn out to be more affordable versions of the existing, US$99 Bullets Wireless 2, albeit ones with noise-cancelling and Bluetooth 5.0.
