OnePlus has finally revealed the date of its next flagships' launch. Some earlier leaks purported to predict this date, and they were very nearly completely right. The show - which will, of course, be held online - is set for 16:00 British Standard Time (17:00 Central European Time, 20:30 Indian Standard Time, or 11:00 Eastern Daylight Time) on April 14, 2020.
This event is widely expected to formerly introduce the Oneplus 8 and 8 Pro to the world. However, as the OEM's CEO Pete Lau has specified that it will unveil the "8 Series", this leaves scope that it may also confirm the existence of the rumored 8 Lite.
As Lau has also stated that this line-up of phones are all "true 5G flagships", it may also re-ignite speculation that this novel variant will ship with a MediaTek Dimensity SoC. In the area of more concrete details, the company has also released a YouTube trailer for its upcoming product launch that indicates the retention of its signature Alert Slider hardware tweak in these new phones, in addition to a nearly-bezelless screen.
Fans may also see leading specs such as the Snapdragon 865 processor and 120Hz display refresh rates, along with new own-brand cases and color options such as Green and Glow, make an appearance during this livestream. It can be viewed via the OEM's homepage or on YouTube.
