OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro specifications and renders confirm punch-hole design, quad rear-facing cameras and striking green variant ahead of mid-April 2020 release
The covers are well and truly off for the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. Apparently set for release in mid-April, @ishanagarwal24 has confirmed a wealth of key specifications for both devices. As can be deduced from the table below, there are quite a few differences between the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.
As expected, both will feature the Snapdragon 865, meaning that they should 5G connectivity. Both will also include up to 256 GB of UFS 3.0 flash storage, along with up to 12 GB of RAM. However, OnePlus will only implement LPDDR5 RAM in the OnePlus 8 Pro, with the OnePlus 8 making do with LPDDR4x instead.
Additionally, both will have large high-refresh-rate AMOLED panels, although the OnePlus 8 Pro will be capable of 120 Hz. By contrast, the OnePlus 8 will peak at 90 Hz. Other differences between the two devices include rear-facing cameras, charging capabilities and IP ratings, or the lack thereof in the case of the latter for the OnePlus 8.
@ishanagarwal24 also states that OnePlus will offer both devices in black and green. @OnLeaks and @iGeeksBlog are on hand if you are having trouble imagining what a green OnePlus would look like, with new renders of the OnePlus 8 Pro offering a look at the colour, which looks rather mint-green finish, in our opinion.
