An interesting Slug text-rendering test comparison has demonstrated how well the PlayStation 5 can deal with heavy processing workloads. The PS5 managed to produce a complex Royal font pixel fillrate of 4.5 gigapixels/s (GeForce RTX 2080: 3.1 gigapixels/s) and took just 0.33 ms to render all the pixels on a 4K screen with a “typical font”.

 HP has launched two new EliteBooks with 5G functionality

HP EliteBook 830 G8 and EliteBook 840 G8 launched with Intel Tiger Lake CPUs, 5G-enabled nano-SIM card slot, and more

HP has launched the EliteBook 830 G8 and EliteBook 840 G8 tailor-made for work from home professionals. They ship with 11th-generation Intel Tiger Lake CPUs, up to 64GB of RAM, 2TB of solid-state storage and a nano-SIM card slot that can be used with both 4G and 5G-enabled SIM cards. Both notebooks will be available for purchase in December, and HP will tell us their prices at a later point.
